Double success at the RICS Awards

Farnborough Road development in Clifton wins two regional awards.

Pelham is delighted to celebrate the success of Farnborough Road, Clifton, which has been recognised with two prestigious awards at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS Awards 2026 East Midlands ceremony.

The landmark regeneration project was named winner in both the Residential Development and Refurbishment/Revitalisation categories, recognising the quality, innovation and community impact of the scheme.
Delivered in partnership with NCHA and GEDA Construction, the former college site has been transformed into a vibrant mixed-use community.

The development brings together independent living apartments, mental health supported living accommodation, modern office space and enhanced community facilities, creating a place where people can live, work and thrive.

Judges praised the scheme for its social value, sustainable approach, public benefit and commitment to delivering positive outcomes for the local community. The project stands as a strong example of regeneration with purpose, creating a lasting legacy for Clifton.

Pelham is proud to have been part of the wider development team, providing architectural, Employer's Agent and Clerk of Works services throughout the delivery of the scheme. Working closely with NCHA, GEDA Construction and the wider consultant team, Pelham helped guide the project from concept through to completion, ensuring the vision for a high-quality, sustainable and community-focused development was successfully realised. The awards are a testament to the collaboration, expertise and commitment of everyone involved.

Following its regional success, Farnborough Road will now represent the East Midlands at the RICS UK Awards Grand Final on 22 October 2026, where it will compete for national recognition alongside regional winners from across the UK.

We congratulate all project partners on this outstanding achievement and wish the team every success in the national finals.
