Pelham finalists in Better Lives Awards

We are proud to be finalists in Nottingham Community Housing Association's (NCHA) Better Lives Awards.

We were recognised in the Innovation Award for finding new ways to design quality, energy-efficient homes.

In the last few years we've had to retrain our team on a range of aspects. Our environment is constantly changing and the homes we design need to reflect that. Here are just a few areas we've had to adapt;

Our team retrained on a building information modelling software system called Revit and Twinmotion, a cutting edge 3D realisation tool which allows us to produce realistic images and video. This is a fantastic piece of software, as we are able share our vision through gorgeous high-resolution stills, high-quality videos, and compelling immersive real-time experiences.

More recently Barbara and Sridhar have retrained to become EPC and Overheating assessors to provide our clients with this technical expertise. This complicated piece of software keeps the team at the forefront of housing design.

New building regulations including those related to energy performance, overheating, security, biodiversity net gain and electric charge points have all influenced our design approach.

It's important for us to keep up-to-date with changing technologies, legislations and regulations and be qualified to deliver a comprehensive service to our clients. These innovations will result in the creation of safe, comfortable and healthy homes for residents.

We would like to thank NCHA for the recognition and our team for continually looking to improve our services.
