Pelham delivers development expertise to Tuntum Housing Association
Pelham is proud to have played a key role in the successful delivery of Tuntum Housing Association’s newest affordable housing development in Stapleford, which officially opened this month with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor Robert Bullock.
The £5.26 million scheme has transformed a former brownfield site previously owned by Ford into 24 high-quality homes for affordable rent, helping to meet local housing needs and regenerate underused land for community benefit.
Our role
As development partners, Pelham provided:
Contract Management – overseeing the programme from start to finish.
Clerk of Works – ensuring quality standards were met throughout construction.
Employer’s Agent – safeguarding client interests and delivering value.
This collaborative approach ensured the scheme was delivered to the highest standards.
About the development
The Stapleford project includes:
15 two-bedroom flats at Tarporley Court.
6 three-bedroom houses and 3 four-bedroom houses at Outcrop Road.
Notably, the nine houses achieved an EPC rating of Band A, thanks to solar PV panels and high-efficiency gas boilers, setting a new benchmark for sustainable housing within Tuntum’s portfolio.
A shared commitment
Jo Hill, Assistant Director for Development and Sales at Pelham, said:
“We’re delighted to have worked alongside Tuntum Housing Association and our partners to bring this high-quality, sustainable development to life in Stapleford. These new homes not only meet a vital housing need but also demonstrate what can be achieved through collaboration and a shared commitment to community-focused regeneration.”
Looking ahead
This development is a great example of how partnership working can deliver real impact for local communities. Pelham remains committed to supporting housing associations and local authorities in creating homes that are sustainable, affordable, and built to last.
