New homes for Nottingham City Council
24 homes affordable homes for Woodborough Road
We’re pleased to share the progress following a recent site visit to the Woodborough Road housing redevelopment, a transformative scheme we’re delivering for Nottingham City Council.
The aerial imagery captures the emerging vision for this complex urban site and showcases how design intent is beginning to take shape on the ground.
Situated just north of Nottingham’s city centre, the Woodborough Road scheme represents a significant investment in high-quality, sustainable housing for the local community. Designed by Pelham Architects, the development brings new homes to a challenging sloped site, replacing outdated accommodation with modern, energy‑efficient homes that prioritise resident wellbeing and long-term environmental performance.
The newly captured drone images provide a comprehensive view of the site layout, architectural form, and surrounding context. They reveal key aspects of the design, including:
- Thoughtfully arranged homes that optimise daylight, privacy, and views across the city
- Landscaped communal spaces designed to enhance biodiversity and create a sense of community
- Sensitive integration with existing neighbourhoods, ensuring the scheme knits seamlessly into its urban setting
- A sustainable design approach, supporting the Council’s ambitions for low‑carbon living across Nottingham.
It’s an important moment in the project’s journey, highlighting the progress achieved through strong collaboration between Pelham Architects, Nottingham City Council, and Morro Partnerships.
As the development continues to move forward, we look forward to sharing further updates and showcasing how this scheme will deliver high‑quality, future‑proofed homes for Nottingham residents.
