New chapter for our architects

A change of roles 

After more than 30 years of dedicated service to NCHA and Pelham, Mike Price is stepping back from his full-time role as Head Architect. From this month, Mike will be moving to a part-time role. The change will allow him to focus on his passion for landscape oil painting, while continuing to contribute to our work in a part-time capacity.

We’re delighted to announce that Simon Henderson has been appointed as our new Head Architect. Simon has worked closely with Mike for over 25 years and brings a wealth of experience and fresh ideas to the role. His appointment ensures continuity and a strong future for the team as we continue to deliver sustainable designs for our clients. 

Mike will remain involved in supporting Simon and contributing to projects, offering his expertise and guidance to the wider team. Among his many achievements, he had the privilege of designing our much-admired development at Farnborough Road in Clifton including our state-of-the-art, BREEAM-certified offices at Clifton Place. These projects showcase not only his architectural talent but also his passion for sustainable, community-focused design. Throughout his career, Mike has led the architecture team with integrity, creativity and a clear commitment to urban design and social housing. 

We’re also looking forward to welcoming a new architect to the team later this month, further strengthening the team as we look to the future. Look out for more about this soon!
