GEDA confirmed for Clifton build

We are really pleased to have signed contracts with GEDA, appointing them to complete the build of NCHA's new office in Clifton.

Building works are due to start in June 2023 following the demolition of some of the existing buildings. We’ve worked with GEDA on 13 schemes over the years, more recently the Virgin Media development in Colwick. We’re really pleased to continue working together at this important development.

GEDA started preparing the site in late 2022 to allow demolition of the existing building to progress. Part of this work was required to ensure that the gym, changing rooms and sports pitches could remain in use during and after the demolition, and these works have now completed.

They included:

• New dedicated services to the gym, changing rooms and pitches including electric, water and data, which previously came from the college connection.
• Upgraded heating systems to remove gas from the site. Air source heat pumps have been added to these areas along with air conditioning to the gym.
• New electric showers have been installed throughout.

We’re looking forward to working with Geda and watching this site develop over the coming months.
