Pelham, working in partnership with Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA), has been chosen by Derbyshire Dales District Council (DDDC) to provide both development and contract management services for their new flagship house building programme.
DDDC covers a large area in the east of Derbyshire, which much of the district in the Peak District National Park. They have appointed Pelham to help deliver their mandate to improve housing affordability in the area. We will be providing development, housing management and maintenance services for this housebuilding programme.
The programme period is for seven years. We will act as Development Agent and will be responsible for activities throughout the development process, including:
- Land and property acquisition
- Scheme design and planning permission
- Project management
- Bidding and IMS programme management work
- Audit compliance
The homes will be mixture of S106 properties, new build units and existing empty homes in need of refurbishment.
When completed the new homes will be let and managed by NCHA, who will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of housing management on behalf of DDDC. NCHA’s Property Services Team will be responsible for carrying out all mayor works, responsive and cyclical repairs.
